Decisions in the Woods

As I reflect on a workshop I participated in yesterday in which we spent time in nature and meditation, I'm struck by how essential it is to be present; not just for our brains and bodies to reset, but to do so in community with others. There's something profoundly grounding about experiencing stillness and awareness alongside like-minded women who are also seeking more presence, wonder, and gratitude in their lives.
Part of what made the experience so meaningful for me was the space it created to explore an important decision I’ve been wrestling with. The workshop guided us through a meditation on discernment and how we navigate the process of making choices from a centered place. As I sat in quiet contemplation, I became acutely aware of the many thoughts swirling around the decision, and I spent time listening to the different parts of myself that had something to say.
I heard from the part that craves safety in relationship, the part that feels tethered by obligation, and the part fueled by deep love and passion for those closest to me. Each part had a message. Some tender, some loud, and I honored them all.
I’m sharing this with you because I want to extend an invitation: an opportunity to slow down, to reconnect with who you truly are, and to explore your inner world in a new way. I’ve created a Finding Your Core Self workshop designed to help you cultivate presence and reflect on your true inner core, the you that has access to calm, patience, and is full of compassion.
Please join me on the 19th July and gift yourself the time to simply be with yourself, in community, and in stillness.
