We aim to offer services based on community needs. Through our therapy work we have learned more specifically about what those might be hence the birth of our flagship workshop, "Parenting Teens & Pre-Teens: Strategies Workshop". We aim to continue to keep our finger on the community pulse to determine what needs are present and offer webinars, trainings and workshops to meet those needs.
Professionals:
We also love working with other therapists and offer professional consultation in both group and individual settings. They mostly occur online but if you are in the area we are always happy to see people in person!
The healing and growth we witness in therapy sessions is deeply meaningful. These services were born from our desire to share that same hope and transformation with a wider audience, offering the skills, insights, and knowledge we’ve gained from years of walking alongside parents, children, teens, families, educators, community groups, and professionals from all walks of life. Our mission is simple: to make tools for resilience and well-being accessible to everyone who can benefit
Our current workshops are for the general public. Learn skills and techniques to improve relationships, build better emotion regulation and enhance self awareness. The workshops are led by trained and licensed therapists who have a passion for educating and helping!
You can attend the workshops in-person, online (live), as well as on-demand to suit your schedule needs.
We bring engaging, practical, and empowering presentations directly to your school, workplace, or community space. Each session is designed to equip participants with tools for resilience, emotional well-being, and personal growth. We tailor the talks to meet the needs of your audience, from 1 hour talks to a half-day workshop, and more.

"Caryn Jooste, LPC, with Core Connections was an outstanding presenter. Her content knowledge was noteworthy and her passion and empathy for adolescents and families were palpable. I left the workshop feeling hopeful, reflective and motivated."
"The guidance I've been looking for! The seminar was so relatable to what we go through as parents and it provided fantastic strategies for me to improve my approach toward my child so that we can have a better relationship with less fighting, fewer power struggles, and more compassion (thereby building her up instead of breaking her down)."
"My child is a tween and I know the teen years are on the way. I participated in the workshop to get a jump ahead to be ready when the teen changes begin."
